Nick Carter has been a professional drummer for over 25 years, during which time he’s performed and recorded with a wide variety of artists including Jimmy Osmond, The Osmond Brothers, TM Stevens, Jeff Berlin, Marco Mendoza, Swans In Flight, Doug Wimbish, and many more. As a seasoned professional player, Nick is at home on stages of any size and has played numerous shows in a wide range of venues around the globe.
As an educator, Nick has taught in countless schools, colleges, and universities, as well as privately, and is currently writing a full drum kit syllabus and all course material for the Indian-based music school Musee Musical School of Music. He also has a range of self-published drum tuition eBooks and is regularly featured in various drum magazines around the world, as well as being a guest tutor at a range of different teaching schools (both online and in-person) throughout Europe.
HOURLY RATE: £35 + 50% studio fee (if applicable)
TEACHING: Online and In-person
PREFERRED LOCATIONS: Pirate Plymouth
LEVELS: Beginner to Advanced
SPECIALITIES: Technique (including fixing technical bad habits), improvisation, fluency on the drum kit, creating better time (playing to a click track, etc.), and coordination.

Nick is currently accepting a number of private students in and around the Plymouth (UK) area. No matter whether you’re a complete beginner fulfilling a lifelong ambition to play the drums or returning after a break from playing, Nick has a range of lesson options to suit everyone.
All of Nick's lessons are fully tailored to each individual student, covering a wide range of areas to help students improve, learn, and, most importantly, enjoy their drumming journey by utilising a wealth of experience as well as an extensive library of tuition material.
