At Pirate, we offer competitive rates for our music rehearsal studios in London.

Off-peak, our prices start at £6.3 per hour for Lite studios, £7.9 per hour for Standard studios, and £10 per hour for Pro studios. We also provide discounts of up to 30% for longer bookings of 4 hours or more.

What to look for when choosing the best rehearsal space for your practice?

Pirate offers a diverse range of rehearsal rooms in London to suit various needs. When booking, consider the size of the studio and the equipment available.

For example, our Lite studios are ideal drum practice rooms, featuring a full drum kit with cymbals but no guitar amps. On the other hand, Standard and Pro studios are equipped with a full backline, perfect for larger band rehearsals.

How many Pirate rehearsal studios are in London?

Pirate operates 60 rehearsal spaces across 9 London areas, including Wembley, Greenwich, Earlsfield, Croydon, Camden, Notting Hill, Tottenham, Dalston, and Hackney Wick.

What is the best rehearsal studio to practise for a gig?

The best rehearsal space to rent in London for gig preparation is our Pro rehearsal studio, this is our largest band practice space, offering the most accurate on-stage feel.

Can you record or livestream your session from our rehearsal studios?

While our rehearsal rooms in London do not include built-in recording or livestreaming equipment, you are welcome to bring your own setup to record or livestream your studio sessions.

What type of studio is best for private drumming lessons?

For private drum lessons, our Lite rehearsal studios in London are the most suitable. These smaller studios come equipped with a full drum kit, including cymbals, at a more affordable rate compared to our larger studios.

What type of studio is best for private guitar lessons?

For acoustic guitar lessons, our Lite studios are perfect, offering a compact and cost-effective space. However, Lite rehearsal studios do not come with guitar amps.

For electric or bass guitar lessons requiring amps, our Standard rehearsal studios are more suitable. For larger group lessons, consider our spacious Pro studios.

Do you have any rehearsal studios in Central London?

Yes, we have several rehearsal studios in Central London, including Notting Hill and Camden. We also have locations in Dalston, Hackney Wick, Greenwich, Earlsfield, Croydon, Tottenham, and Wembley.

Can I rent a rehearsal space with a piano?

Our music practice rooms in London do not come equipped with pianos or keyboards. Please check the equipment list for each studio before booking and make sure to bring any additional gear you need.

Do you have any additional equipment for hire?

We do not offer equipment hire at our London rehearsal studios. Extra equipment for hire is currently available at our Birmingham location only.

    UPDATE: Let's jam! At the end of this event, we will now host a jam and invite all performers, artists, bands and musicians to hop in and play a completely improvised jam. Everyone is invited. Bring your instruments and your creativity.

    MIC is our new monthly event at Pirate Dalston, where our communal area becomes a performance stage for bands, soloists, instrumentalists, spoken word artists and more. If you're not in London, MIC is in Birmingham and coming to more Pirate cities soon.

    Every other third Wednesday of the month from 6pm - 9pm, participate as a performer or an audience member for free, it's a great chance to connect with the artists who share your London studios.
