Duel Frequency Episode One
Watch as grime MCs Snowy and Kabz take on hip hop beats produced by Nutty P and Sumgii
Two teams made up of an MC and a producer pair up and battle it out to create the best original track from scratch. For the first episode of the trilogy, Duel Frequency resident MCs Snowy and Kabz line up with producers Nutty P and Sumgii in our Notting Hill recording studio. The brief: to produce an original hip hop track in just three hours of studio time.
Snowy

Sumgii
A veteran producer with a career spanning two decades of vintage UK club culture from jungle and drum and bass, to garage and grime. Regular on key London radio platforms Rinse FM and Balamii, and a longtime affiliate of Swamp 81, High Focus and Potent Funk.
Kabz
Multi-genre lyricist and MC hailing from North London, whose versatility on the mic has made him a firm fixture on radio airwaves and host with the most for UKG icon Sticky’s live sets. Represents London’s Over The Edge and SOS.
Nutty P
Prolific beatmaker and rapper whose production credits — Wretch 32, Krept & Konan, Skepta, Newham Generals, Maverick Saber — read like a who’s who of the biggest names in UK grime. Debut solo album ‘Infrared’ dropped early 2019 with widespread TV and radio support.
